Standard shipping within Canada is free on orders over $99. For orders below $99 we charge a flat rate of $8.95. The shipping cost is shown at checkout before you pay.

Yes. You can return or exchange any product within 30 days of delivery, as long as it is unused and in its original packaging. Contact us with your order number and we will send you the return instructions. Once we have received and checked the return, we refund the purchase amount to your original payment method.

That depends on the knife. Some of our knives are dishwasher safe, but many have wooden or handcrafted handles that should only be washed by hand. You will find this listed in the specifications on each product page. Our general advice: wash by hand with warm water, dry the blade immediately and treat wooden handles with a little oil now and then to keep them looking their best.

Laguiole is the name of a traditional knife design that originated in the village of Laguiole in the Aveyron region of France. It is not a protected brand name, which is why the quality of knives sold as Laguiole varies enormously. We select every knife in our range ourselves and only sell knives with the hallmarks of the real thing: the characteristic slender shape, the bee on the spring and a properly finished, sharp blade. Every knife comes with our warranty, so you can buy with confidence.
